Nature is Our Classroom
Ready Set Grow is an early childhood center where child-led exploration and outdoor learning meet.

Our Nature-Based Philosophy
At Ready, Set, Grow Learning Center our childcare philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best through meaningful experiences, hands-on exploration, and strong relationships with the world around them. As a nature-based, child-led program, we believe the outdoors is one of the most powerful classrooms a child can have. Children will spend the majority of their day outside exploring nature, engaging in open-ended play, and discovering the world through curiosity, creativity, and adventure.
We view children as capable, confident, and naturally curious learners. Our curriculum is guided by the interests of the children and enriched through hands-on experiences using nature as our learning tool. Whether children are building with sticks, observing insects, planting gardens, climbing trees, or creating art from natural materials, each experience provides opportunities for growth across all areas of development.
At the heart of our program are our four core values: respect, compassion, growth, and creativity. We strive to create a caring and inclusive environment where children learn to respect themselves, others, and the environment around them. Our teachers model kindness, empathy, patience, and positive communication, helping children build meaningful relationships and strong social-emotional skills.
We believe in the importance of risky play and understand that children learn resilience, confidence, problem-solving, and independence by navigating challenges in their environment. Through supervised opportunities for climbing, balancing, exploring, and testing their abilities, children learn to assess risks, trust themselves, and develop important life skills.
Our program is deeply hands-on and focused on preparing children for life beyond the classroom. Children will learn practical life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, caring for our environment and shared spaces, problem-solving, and perseverance. We place great value on manners, kindness, compassion, and working together as a community.
We are committed to nurturing a lifelong love of learning by giving children the freedom to explore, imagine, create, and connect with nature every day. Through play, discovery, and meaningful experiences, we hope to inspire children to grow into respectful, compassionate, creative, and confident individuals.
